Celebrate Everything Crestwood At Community Parade This Sunday

Come celebrate everything Crestwood this Sunday, May 5, at the community parade.

CRESTWOOD, IL -- Join the Village of Crestwood this Sunday, May 5, for a community parade celebrating everything Crestwood. The parade steps off at 1 p.m. from the Crestwood Recreation and Wellness Center at 5331 W 135th St.

Leading the parade will be Mayor Lou Presta and village trustees, the police and fire departments, the EMA and public works. Also look for the Crestwood Crush Baseball, Fastpitch Softball and T-Ball teams, Mid-Crest Panthers Football and Cheerleading, the Crestwood Public Library, Public Safety Direct, local Girl Scout and Daisy Troops and the Illinois National Guard.

The parade will progress from the Crestwood Recreation and Wellness Center going east on 135th Street to Laramie (south), to 139th Street (west), to Long Avenue (north) and back to the rec center. Come and cheer on all these great local organizations.
