Crestwood Cops Seek 'Vehicle of Interest' In Fatal Shooting
Crestwood police are looking for a Dodge Magnum sighted that was seen leaving the area where a Markham man was found shot on Tuesday.

CRESTWOOD, IL -- Crestwood police and the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force are investigating the shooting death of a Markham man Tuesday morning. Eric Davis, 24, was reportedly found with multiple gunshot wounds. He was brought to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he later died from his injuries.
At approximately 10:45 a.m. Nov. 7, the Robbins Police Department responded to a call of a gunshot victim in the area of 135th Street and Hamlin Avenue. Robbins police began processing the scene until it was determined that wounded man was on the Crestwood side of the street. After determining that the shooting happened in Crestwood, police activated the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force. Police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office determined that Davis had multiple gunshot wounds.
Police believe an African-American man wearing a white hoodie may have been involved in the shooting. The man was seen entering a maroon Dodge Magnum with tinted windows, according to police information sent to Patch. The vehicle was seen leaving the area around the time of the shooting and may have dealer plates. The Dodge is now a “vehicle of interest,” according to police.
