Doughs Guys To Take ‘Buns Out of the Oven’ at New Crestwood Location

Doughs Guys Bakery will throw open its doors in Crestwood on Feb. 22.

CRESTWOOD, IL -- Doughs Guys Bakery, which claims to have removed more buns from the oven than the maternity ward at Christ Hospital, will be opening its sixth location this Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 13545 Cicero Ave. in Crestwood.

Crestwood is Doughs Guys seventh location and second brick and mortar store. The Palos Heights-flagship bakery also operates satellites in the Orland Park, Oak Forest and Palos Park train stations, and the Oak Lawn Public Library.

The bakery will throw open its doors at 6 a.m. at the new Crestwood location at 13545 Cicero Ave. Expect to see Doughs Guys’ regular pecials, like “Coffee Cake Wednesday,” start up in March.

The owners announced on Doughs Guys Facebook page that it took little longer than planned get the Crestwood location up and running, but they’re “ready to get rolling” in Crestwood.

Doughs Guys is famous for its maple bacon long johns and made-from-scratch custom baked goods -- from wedding cakes to coffee cakes to bread and cookies.

Hours at the Crestwood location will be 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday; 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday; and 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. Doughs Guys also offers catering for parties, corporate events, weddings and just any other event you could think of -- their buns never rest.
