Go Green At Alsip's Village-Wide Recycling and Resource Drive
Drop off your recycling, donations for AmVets, grab a hot dog and participate in some cool Earth Day activities on April 28.

ALSIP, IL -- Unload your cardboard, old electronics, hearing aids, glasses, paper products, pharmaceuticals, textiles and more at the Village of Alsip’s recycling and resources drive on Saturday, April 28. Alsip residents can drop off their recyclables from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Alsip Boat Launch at 5399 W. Plattner Drive.
In addition to dropping off their junk to be recycled, residents will have opportunities to:
- Visit with local non-profits and other organizations providing resources to the Alsip community
- Spend time with the Alsip Fire Department and their beautiful truck
- Drop off donations to Amvets (be sure to bring all items in a box or bag)
- Have lunch at The Lucky Hot Dog food truck
- Go home with fun Earth Day crafts and activities
- Enter for a chance to win 1 of 10 Home Composters or a Little Free Library
Please DON'T drop off anything outside event hours. Check out the village’s website for a list of acceptable and unacceptable recyclables.
