Home Repair Fraudster Revisits Homeowner Second Time: Cops
Cops said man scammed homeowner in April, then returned on Fourth of July offering to repair roof.

MIDLOTHIAN, IL -- An alleged home repair fraudster revisited a Midlothian home he had scammed in April offering concrete repair, only this time the resident had a home security system to capture his con game, according to police information.
On April 4, the homeowner signed a contract with the suspect to repair the concrete steps on her porch. When the homeowner noticed that all the suspect was doing was painting the stairs, she told him to leave. Police said she did not have surveillance video at that time.
Police said the same suspect and truck returned on July 4. The man told the homeowner she was doing work in the area and noticed she needed work done on her roof. She told him to leave and he left.
