Lincoln, Susan B. Anthony Come To Life At Alsip-MP Library
Celebrate the centennial of women's right to vote with Susan B. Anthony and President Lincoln Oct. 4, at the Alsip-Merrionette Park Library.

ALSIP, IL — It’s hard to believe that before 1920, American women did not have the right to vote. In celebration of the Women’s Suffrage Centennial, the Alsip-Merrionette Park Public Library will host a “Friday Night Special” starting at 7 p.m. at Oct. 4, featuring a lively discussion between the 16th U.S. President and the leader of the women’s suffrage movement.
Step back in time and watch a lively discussion between Abraham Lincoln, portrayed by Max Daniels, and Susan B. Anthony, portrayed by Annette Baldwin. This is a 21-and-over event. Beer and wine will be served, with a two-drink maximum. No registration is required.
