“They weren’t on sale. It wasn’t Black Friday or anything,” Judge Felice said. “I don’t even know what those are.”

The prosecutor said that Medrano has a pending criminal defacement to property case from Aug. ! in Chicago. Medrano was spotted by Chicago police allegedly “tagging everything in sight.” According to court records, he was writing “Shade” and “HBS” for “Heroic Bombing Squad.”

Medrano was released on a $20,000 I-bond. The judge also ordered random drug testing.

“Stay out of the Crestwood Walmart,” Judge Felice said. “The people at Walmart don’t want to have to follow you around.”

Medrano’s next hearing is Dec. 21 in Bridgeview.
