'Paws In The Park' Returns To Alsip Park District This Saturday

ALSIP, IL -- Bring your best four-legged friend to the Alsip Park District's Paws in the Park this Saturday, Aug. 11. The celebration will be held at Prairie Ballfields, 119th Street and Kostner Avenue, behind the Aquatic Park. The canine confab runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Paws in the Park features a vendor fair, pet adoptions, doggie competitions, demos, presentations, photo booth, raffles and prizes.

The Alsip Park District still needs vendors, crafters and businesses for Paws in the Park. For information about being a vendor or to volunteer, call at 708-389-1003. This is a great opportunity for local dog owners to visit with each other and the organizations in our community. Pets must be on leashes and owners will be responsible for cleaning up their poop.
