Worth Township Democratic Organization thanks Evergreen Park and Oak Lawn for their Independence Day parades, parties, and fireworks.
What an incredible celebration both Evergreen Park and Oak Lawn put on for their residents this Independence Day weekend. Parades, parties, and fireworks were enjoyed. A great time was had by all. I don't think I saw one kid on an electronic device unless it was to snap a picture. Families came out, neighbors joined and the streets were lined to watch the parades and celebrate together.
I want to express my sincere gratitude and joy for having been a part of The Village of Evergreen Park’s 51 Annual Independence Day Parade and Oak Lawn’s 4th of July Parade.
Worth Township Democratic Organization (WTDO) gathered, organized, carried signs, and decorated vehicles, strollers, and our own selves to walk in these two wonderful parades. We met so many smiling, happy, wonderful people as we wished parade goers a happy 4th of July, waved, passed out thousands of pieces of candy, and danced along with our DJ as he spun great music along the parade routes.
