Sellers Needed for Crestwood's Junk In The Trunk

CRESTWOOD, IL -- Do have junk laying around your house, as in good junk that you might want to sell? Crestwood’s JUNK IN THE TRUNK is looking for sellers. Junk In The Trunk is a garage sale out of the the trunk of your car. It’s scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 9, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The garage sale will be held -- rain or shine -- at the Crestwood Recreation and Wellness Center, located at 5331 W. 135th St.

The fee is $18 for residents, and $23 for non-residents who wish to set up shop in the parking lot. The fee guarantees sells an 18 X 20-foot space (approx. two parking spaces) to sell your treasures. Sellers are responsible for their own tables and electric and can keep all their profits.

Those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Sorry, but you can’t sell firearms, guns, tobacco, alcohol, unsuitable material or fireworks. Crestwood Rec staff reserve the right to ask sellers to leave if items are deemed illegal or inappropriate and no refunds will be given. More than one 18 X 20 space can be purchased . Tents and canopies are allowed. Set-up will take place between 7 and 8:30 a.m.
