The Alsip-Merrionette Park Public Library District is the grateful recipient this year of a grant from The Awesome Foundation, an ever-growing worldwide community devoted to forwarding the interest of awesome in the universe. With this grant, the library was able to purchase new sewing machines for patron use and will begin offering sewing classes for youth patrons beginning early 2019.
