The ceremony starts at noon at 11800 S. Old Cicero Road (118th and Cicero), Alsip. Leading the ceremony will be Mayor John Ryan. Members will post the colors and lay a wreath to honor those who've fallen advancing the flag for our country. Congressman Sean Casten (IL-06) will be attending Alsip's Memorial Day ceremony. The ceremony will conclude with a 21-gun salute and Taps. Sandwiches and other refreshments will be served after the ceremony.
