Watch the Crestwood Community Parade

CRESTWOOD, IL -- Crestwood celebrated the beginning of the spring and summer youth sports season with a community parade around the block Sunday afternoon. Judging by the number of pieces of candy we got hit with, the Crestwood Crush should have a pretty good season.

In addition to the Crush, Crestwood Fast-Pitch, T-Ballers, and Mid-Crest Panthers and Cheerleading teams, and local Girl Scout and Daisy Troops stepped down 135th Street. The youth were joined by Mayor Lou Presta and other elected officials, the Crestwood librarians, police and fire departments, public works, public safety and the Illinois Army National Guard.
