Worth Township Seeks Day Camp Counselors For Summer 2022

Worth Township Youth Commission is hiring summer camp counselors for 2022. Must be at least 16 to apply.

ALSIP, IL — Worth Township Youth Commission is now accepting applications for summer camp counselor positions for the upcoming summer. Applicants must be 16 or older, pass an Illinois State Police background check, and have a valid driver's license or state ID. Applicants must be enthusiastic, creative, flexible and responsible. Camp counselors must serve as a positive role model to younger campers and be a hard worker.

Applicants must be available to work from June 27 through August 5. Camps vary in times and days with different age groups. Camp counselors are also required to attend a multi-day mandatory training and certification to be announced before camp starts in the summer. Training includes American Red Cross CPR and First-Aid certification along with rules, policies and procedures.

Camp hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., counselor hours 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Applications will soon be available online.

Applications for camp counselor can be picked up at the Worth Township Center, 11601 S. Pulaski Road, Alsip, during regular business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
