Worth Township Youth Commission Offers Summer Day Camps for Kids

ALSIP, IL -- Worth Township Youth Commission is offering six- and nine-week summer day camps that include arts and crafts, field trips, recreational sports and weekly swimming days (Day and Tween Camp only) for children ages 3 through 15. Registration begins on April 2nd. Spots are limited so make sure you register early.

This is an organized program with many fun and exciting activities planned both indoors and outdoors throughout the six weeks. This program gives children the opportunity to meet other children the same age who may not go to the same school. It also gives high school and college students an opportunity for summer employment.

Registration is ongoing through May 25. Late registration will be from May 29 to June 1 (additional $25 per family). Register 8:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Worth Township Office, 11601 S. Pulaski Road in Alsip.

Kiddie Kamp for ages 3-5 (children must be toilet trained) from June 26 to Aug. 2 for the six-week program. Camp meets Tuesday and Thursdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fee is $225 for township residents; $305 for non-residents. The nine-week program runs from June 5 to Aug. 2. Fee is $355 for township residents, $400 for non-residents.

Day Camp for ages 6 through 10. The six-week program runs from June 15 to Aug. 3 (no camp July 4). Camp meets from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Fee is $255 for township residents; $305 for non-residents. The nine-week program runs from June 4 to Aug. 3 (no camp July 4). Fee is $405 for township residents; $455 for non-residents.

Tween Camp, ages 11-15. The six-week program runs from June 26 to Aug. 2. Camp meets Tuesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Fee is $255 for township residents and $305 for non-residents. The nine-week camp runs June 5 through Aug. 2. Fee is $405 for residents; $455 for non-residents.
