• 4th of July (cityofanna.org) — Anna is planning a full day of Fourth of July fun at Anna City Park, capped by Union County’s only public fireworks show. From a morning parade and food trucks to games, dachshund races, live music, and contests, the city is also seeking volunteers and sponsors to help pull off one of Southern Illinois’ biggest patriotic celebrations.
