• Arenzville man dies in motorcycle crash in rural Cass County (sj-r.com) — A 19-year-old Arenzville resident, Marion Mathis, died after his motorcycle was struck by a car that crossed the centerline on Arenzville Road near Bethel Church Road in rural Cass County on July 19. Authorities are still investigating the crash and may consider additional charges, while friends and family remember Mathis as a free spirit who loved motorcycles, adventure, and time with loved ones.
