$1M Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In Arlington Heights: IL Lottery
It marks the first million-dollar win of the year in the state, according to officials.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — If you recently bought a lottery ticket in Arlington Heights, you might just be a millionaire. The winning $1 million winning Lotto ticket was purchased at a Marathon gas station, located at 115 W. Dundee Road, according to Illinois Lottery officials.
The winning ticket matches all six numbers — 16, 32, 40, 42, 44, 45 — in the Lotto Million 1 game, drawn on Saturday. Officials said it marks the first million-dollar win of the year in the state. Lotto, which is an Illinois-only game, is played Monday, Thursday and Saturday.
For selling the winning ticket, the gas station receives a bonus of $10,000, or one percent of the prize amount.

The winner has one year from the date of the draw to claim the prize. Illinois Lottery said it encourages all winners to write their name on the back of their ticket and "keep it in a safe place until they’re ready to claim their prize."
