2 Rainbow Pride Banners Stolen At Church: Arlington Heights PD Blotter

The banners, valued at $100, were stolen at St. Simon Church, 717 W. Kirchoff Road.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Daniel H. Fisher, 53, of the 100 block of E. Willow Street, Arlington Heights, is accused of battery, and was arrested at 9:22 a.m. Feb. 5, in the 1900 block of N. Arlington Heights Road. He was released and assigned a court date of March 11.

RETAIL THEFT

  • Erick Mora, 30, of the 400 block of W. Touhy Avenue, Des Plaines, is accused of retail theft, and was arrested at 3:29 p.m. Feb. 3, in the 900 block of W. Algonquin Road. He was released and assigned a court date of March 4.
  • Alessandra Vaduva, 25, of West Covina, California, is accused of retail theft, and was arrested at 4:32 p.m. Feb. 5, in the 1000 block of S. Roselle Road, Hoffman Estates. She was released and assigned a court date of March 4.

RECKLESS DRIVING

Victor Ponce, 20, of the 3100 block of Still Hill Drive, McHenry, is accused of reckless driving, and was arrested at 11:27 p.m. Feb. 2, in the 1400 block of E. Hintz Road. He was released and assigned a court date of March 10.

A citizen reported that between 5:15 p.m. and 5:50 p.m. Jan. 27, someone stole two rainbow pride banners, valued at around $100, at St. Simon Church, 717 W. Kirchoff Road.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO VEHICLE

A citizen called police to report that between Jan. 30 and Jan. 31, someone had entered his white Nissan and rummaged through the glove compartment and tampered with the steering column while it was parked in the 2100 block of S. Goebbert Road.

BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE

A citizen reported that between Jan. 30 and Jan. 31, someone had entered her gray Hyundai and tampered with the steering column while it was parked in the 2100 block of S. Tonne Drive.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

A resident in the 1300 block of N. Arlington Heights Road reported at 2 a.m. Jan. 31, someone had entered the residence through the garage or kitchen window and stole personal property.
