Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested At Court: Arlington Heights PD Blotter

The 21-year-old was arrested Wednesday at the First Municipal Courthouse of Cook County.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

  • Rickey P. Brount, 66, of the 1700 block of Tahoe Circle, Wheeling, is accused of aggravated driving under the influence, DUI alcohol, and was arrested at 7:29 p.m. Jan. 27, at the Thorton gas station, 1600 N. Rand Road, Prospect Heights. He was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 3.
  • Yoshitaka Nakahara, 47, of the 1500 block of Harbour Drive, Wheeling, is accused of DUI alcohol, DUI alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested at 5:08 p.m. Jan. 25, in the 1800 block of S. Arlington Heights Road. He was released and assigned a court date of March 4.

VIOLATION OF BAIL BOND

  • Gary R. Burkross, 67, of the 0-10 block of E. Main Street, Cary, had a warrant for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 8:07 a.m. Jan. 30.
  • Scott Nichols, 46, of the 900 block of E. Golf Road, Arlington Heights, is accused of driving on a revoked license, had a warrant for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 12:18 a.m. Jan. 27, in the 800 block of E. Golf Road. He was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 11.

Keveone E. Murdock, 21, of the 8000 block of S. Calumet Ave., Chicago, is accused of armed robbery, and was arrested at 10:20 a.m. Jan. 29, at the First Municipal Courthouse of Cook County, 2650 S. California Ave., Chicago. A court date of Feb. 27 was assigned.

IDENTITY THEFT

Zlotea David Radu, 25, of Diamond Bar, California, is accused of two counts of identity theft, and was arrested at 1:15 p.m. Jan. 24, at O'Hare International Airport. Bond was set at $75,000 and a court date of Jan. 25 was assigned.

PROSTITUTION

Normelys Reyes Acosta, 22, of the 20 block of W. Algonquin Road, is accused of prostitution, and was arrested at 4:56 p.m. Jan. 24. She was released and assigned a court date of March 4.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT

Jeremy P. Sachs, 29, of the 1oo block of W. Euclid Avenue, Palatine, is accused of aggravated assault, and was arrested at 4:50 p.m. Jan. 30, at Motel 6. He was released and assigned a court date of March 4.

INCIDENTS

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

An employee at Parkway Bank, 1408 W. Algonquin Road, reported at 5:38 a.m. Jan. 20, two people had arrived in a white pick-up truck. The pair attempted to pry open the ATM doors with no luck. They then attached a chain to the ATM and the truck and fled at a high rate of speed. They were unable to open the ATM, but caused approximately $10,000 worth of damage.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO VEHICLE

A citizen called police to report that between 11:30 a.m. and 5:20 p.m. Jan. 22, someone had shattered the rear window on her gray Buick with an unknown object.

SUSPICIOUS PEOPLE

A resident in the 1300 block of N. Arlington Heights Road reported at 7:50 p.m. Jan. 22, two men were looking into her house. They were described as being between the ages of 25 and 35, wearing jackets.
