3 Men Steal Piping From Construction Site: Arlington Heights PD Blotter

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police.   • Carlos Armenta Villegas, 45, of the 600 block of Grace Street, Elgin, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested June 22 in the 100 block of E. Orchard Street. He was released and assigned a court date of July 29.
  • Alex Kordylasinski, 29, of the 1500 block of S. Kasper Avenue, Arlington Heights, is accused of DUI alcohol, DUI alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested at 2:20 a.m. June 21, in the 1600 block of W White Oak, Arlington Heights. He was released and assigned a court date of July 15.

DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED LICENSE

Mercedes Ely, 28, of the 2900 block of N. Cicero Avenue, Chicago, is accused of driving on a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to secure child under 8 in appropriate child restraint system, and was arrested at 11:59 a.m. June 23, at Pine Avenue and Magnolia Street. She was released and assigned a court date of July 21.

VIOLATION OF BAIL BOND

  • Erica E. Kim, 33, of the 800 block of N. Chestnut Avenue, Arlington Heights, had two warrants for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 5:39 p.m. June 20, in the 1700 block of Dempster Street.
  • Timothy A. Kirschner, 53, homeless, had two warrants for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 1:54 a.m. June 22, in the 1400 block of Miner Street, Des Plaines. A court date of June 24 was assigned.
  • Horacio Lopez-Andrade, 38, of the 1700 block of W. Chariot Court, Mount Prospect, had a warrant for violation of bail bond, possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested at 4:17 p.m. June 23, in the 300 block of E. Algonquin Road. He was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 19.

INCIDENTS

THEFT

  • A citizen reported that between 4:15 p.m. and 4:40 p.m. June 19, someone had entered his locker at LA Fitness, 345 E. Palatine Road, and stole cash from his wallet.
  • A citizen called police to report that between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. June 19, someone had stolen her credit card at Target, 1700 E. Rand Road, and subsequently made unauthorized purchases.
  • A citizen reported at 7:20 p.m. June 19, three males had stolen piping from a construction site at Euclid and Gibbons avenues. They arrived and left in a silver Dodge pickup truck and a dark gray pickup truck with a trailer.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

A resident in the 2000 block of Coldspring Road reported that between 1 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. June 19, someone had entered her residence and stole personal items.
