3 Nabbed Separately For Resisting Police: Arlington Heights PD Blotter

One of the incidents occurred at a Comfort Inn, where the person was also arrested on two outstanding warrants, according to police.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

RETAIL THEFT

Vanessa Barajas, 29, is accused of retail theft, and was arrested at 3:25 p.m. Jan. 19, at EZ Pawn, 1778 W. Algonquin Road. A court date of March 2 was assigned.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO LAND

Mykyta Cheshko, 30, is accused of criminal trespass to land, and was arrested at 9:50 p.m. Jan. 15, in the 0-10 block of N. Vail Street. A court date of March 2 was assigned.

DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED/REVOKED LICENSE

A 20-year-old man is accused of driving on a suspended license, and was arrested at 4:10 p.m. Jan. 14, at Comfort Inn, 3 W. Algonquin Road. Bond was set at $2,500 and a court date of March 1 was assigned.

RESISTING A PEACE OFFICER

  • Natalie Hernandez, 27, is accused of resisting a peace officer, and was arrested at 2:54 p.m. Jan. 15, at Rand Road and Route 53. A court date of Feb. 7 was assigned.
  • Yecenia Lopez, 34, is accused of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing identification, resisting a peace officer, and was arrested at 4:08 p.m. Jan. 14, at Comfort Inn, 2120 S. Arlington Heights Road. Lopez also had two warrants for violation of bail bond. Bond was set at $10,000 and a court date of Feb. 6 was assigned.
  • Andrew William Lord, 22, is accused of two counts of resisting a peace officer, and was arrested at 6:20 p.m. Jan. 15, in the 50 block of S. Vail Avenue. A court date of Feb. 23 was assigned.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

  • Jordan X. Suggs, 28, is accused of aggravated driving under the influence, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, driving under the influence of intoxicating compounds, driving on a revoked license, obstructing identification, and was arrested at 2:54 a.m. Jan. 15, at Rand Road and Route 53. Bond was set at $10,000 and a court date of Feb. 21 was assigned.
  • Michael Williams, 42, is accused of aggravated driving under the influence, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a revoked license, illegal transportation of alcohol, speeding (26-34 mph over the speed limit), and was arrested at 12:19 a.m. Jan. 14, at Arlington Heights Road and White Oak Street. Bond was set at $10,000 and a court date of Jan. 31 was assigned.

VIOLATION OF BAIL BOND

  • Samuel B. Thakurdas, 23, had two warrants for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 8:21 p.m. Jan. 13, at Jewel, 77 S. Evergreen Ave. Bond was set at $30,000 and a court date of Feb. 7 was assigned.
  • Arkavous L. Wilson 26, had a warrant for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 5:06 p.m. Jan. 15, in the 200 block of E. Sigwalt Street. Bond was set at $5,000.
