Missing 67-Year-Old Man Found Safe: Arlington Heights PD

Arlington Heights police said the 67-year-old has been located. The department credited the assistance of the Arlington Heights community for sharing posts and calling in tips.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL – A search is underway in for a missing man who may be without medication he needs, Arlington Heights police said Tuesday night.

Mahoud Izraren, 67, was last seen around 11:30 a.m. near Volz Park in the area of Euclid Avenue and Northwest Highway, according to police. He was reported missing around 4 p.m.

Police described Izraren as a white man about 5-foot-8 and 160 pounds with black and gray hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a navy long-sleeve button-up shirt and jeans.

Police believe he is on foot and does not have access to a vehicle or a cell phone. He speaks only Kabyle and has been in the United States for a short time, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or the Arlington Heights Police Department at 847-368-5300. Police said a Silver Search request has been submitted through the Illinois State Police.
