The incident, which occurred at around 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, shut down the eastbound and westbound lanes of Algonquin Road between Barker Avenue and New Wilke Road for several hours. In a traffic alert posted on social media, Rolling Meadows police said the road had reopened at around 3 p.m.
