ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

ARRESTS

AGGRAVATED UNLAWFUL USE OF WEAPON

Daniel Avala, 58, of the 500 block of E. Fremont Street, Arlington Heights, is accused of three counts of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon (loaded), possessing a firearm, possession of a firearm with FOID expired, possession of ammunition with FOID expired, driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested a 3:19 p.m. Feb. 15, at N. Vail Avenue and W. Davis Street. A court date of March 25 was assigned.

Keshawn L. Bates, 23, homeless, had a warrant for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 9:53 a.m. Feb. 13, at the Arlington Heights Police Department.

STALKING

Alfonso F. Garcia, 41, of the 2400 block of Pembroke Avenue, Hoffman Estates, is accused of stalking, unlawful use of an electronic tracking device, and was arrested at 7:12 p.m. Feb. 16, in the Studio Viva parking lot, 600 N. 1st Bank Drive, Palatine. A court date of March 13 was assigned.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Christopher M. Kurz, 38, of the 500 block of E. Seegers Road, Arlington Heights, is accused of two counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of driving on a revoked license, warrant for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 8:34 p.m. Feb. 18, in the 400 block of E. Seegers Road. He was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 23.

ENDANGERING THE LIFE OF A CHILD

Madeline J. Bargiel, 38, of the 7300 block of W. Fitch Avenue, Chicago, is accused of endangering the life of a child, driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, operating a motor vehicle without a license, failure to secure a child under the age of 8 in an appropriate child restraint, and was arrested at 6:50 p.m. Feb. 6, at W. Algonquin and S. Old Wilke roads. She was released and assigned a court date of March 31.

FLEEING/ATTEMPTING TO ELUDE A PEACE OFFICER

Alex R. Pacino, 50, of the 900 block of W. Euclid Avenue, Arlington Heights, is accused of two counts of fleeing/attempting to elude a peace officer, obstructing a peace officer, and was arrested at 11 p.m. Feb. 10 in Arlington Heights. He was released and assigned a court date of March 31.

PUBLIC INDECENCY/LEWD EXPOSURE

Jose E. Rodriguez Medina, 29, of the 1100 block of W. Cottonwood Lane, Mount Prospeft, is accused of public indecency/lewd exposure, and was arrested at 5:34 p.m. Feb. 10 in Arlington Heights. He was released and assigned a court date of March 12.

ASSAULT

Mihail Timofeev Terioschin, 32, of Philadlephia, Pennsylvania, is accused of assault, resisting a peace officer, and was arrested at 11:19 p.m. Feb. 12, in the 500 block of W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. He was released and assigned a court date of March 12.
