Arens Controls Fined $26,000 for Fatal Explosion

Neil Nicholson, 55, of Itasca was killed on May 22 when the machine he operated at Arens Controls exploded.

Arens Controls, 3602 N. Kennicott Avenue in Arlington Heights, has paid more than $26,000 in fines after a federal probe that uncovered five serious violations following an explosion that killed a 55-year-old Itasca man, according to the Daily Herald.
