52-Year-Old Man Found Dead In Schaumburg Pond: Report
The latest discovery marks the third body found in ponds located in the Northwest suburbs since the beginning of April.
SCHAUMBURG, IL — A body was found Wednesday morning at a pond in the 1800 block of Walden Office Square. Authorities have not released the name of the deceased, but the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said it's a 52-year-old man.
WGN-TV is reporting Schaumburg police were called to the pond at around 6:20 a.m. following a report of a body being found. Police told the media outlet there were no obvious signs of trauma to the man.
It marks the third time a body has been found in a Northwest suburban pond in the last two months. On April 3, Patch reported workers were cleaning a pond at Algonquin Road and Parkside Drive in Schaumburg when a man's body was found there.
