Arlington Heights Approves Storm Sewer Improvements

The storm sewer improvements are expected to be completed on Sept. 20, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The Arlington Heights Village Board Monday approved a contract with J. Congdon Sewer Service for storm sewer improvements with the hopes of improving drainage issues for as many as 40 homes, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The $220,695 contract will involve extending storm sewers at homes in various locations throughout the village with some of the costs being covered by a $200,000 grant from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO), according to the Chicago Tribune.
