During the summertime, the gym has an influx of college kids, Miller explained with some of the busier times for the gym coming at the 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. hours. However, with the ample space and equipment, gym members will not having a problem getting on a machine or using a piece of equipment.
Miller, who holds a Bachelors' of Science degree from Ohio State University, finds his niche in corrective exercise, which allows him to work with all age ranges at the gym.
The community has been "very receptive," Miller said. In the two years Fitness 19 has been in Arlington Heights, they've helped a gym member lose more than 100 pounds, a 12-year-old with their agility and people with health issues looking to regain their strength.
After researching Arlington Heights, Miller found the village was a "comfortable community." The gym has been involved with community events and they plan to participate in the second annual Health and Wellness Initiative 5K Run in October.
