Arlington Heights Health Center Accused of Improper Treatment in Resident's Death: Lawsuit
A family member claims his relative's medical condition was improperly treated before her death in 2014.

A lawsuit filed Wednesday accuses an Arlington Heights health center and doctor of improper medical care that led to the death of a patient in 2014, according to the Cook County Record.
Joseph Giolli, who filed the suit Wednesday, June 8, in Cook County Circuit Court, claims The Moorings Health Care Center, Northwest Suburban Physicians and Dr. Leo Kanev were negligent when they failed to correctly evaluate the condition of his relative, Ola Giolli, who was a resident at The Moorings, the report stated. Ola Giolli died June 8, 2014, at Northwest Community Hospital of septic shock, urinary tract infection and appendicitis, the report added.
Joseph Giolli, who is the executor of Ola Giolli's estate, is suing for $50,000.
