A quarter of a million dollars richer, an Arlington Heights man is one of Illinois’ latest lotto winners, the Daily Herald reports.
Carl Neiss, 63, of Arlington Heights, won $250,000 with a $1 Quick Pick ticket purchased at a Prosepct Heights 7-Eleven that matched all five numbers from the Oct. 5 Mega Millions drawing. A part-time furniture salesman, the Daily Herald reports, Niess and his wife plan to use their winnings to pay bills and prepare for retirement.
