Arlington Heights OKs Earlier Alcohol Sales on Sunday

Residents will now be able to buy alcohol starting at 8 a.m. on Sunday.

The Arlington Heights village board on Monday approved changes to its municipal code that will allow stores to sell alcohol starting at 8 a.m. on Sunday, according to the Daily Herald. Currently, stores cannot legally sell alcohol until 11 a.m. on Sunday but alcohol sales are allowed at 8 a.m. every other day of the week.

The new changes will take effect on Jan. 17, according to the newspaper.
