The Arlington Heights Senior Center could be looking for a new health provider for its programming following significant cuts by the Northwest Community Center Hospital last year, the Chicago Tribune reports.
The Arlington Heights Senior Citizens Commission's subcommitte met in January to discuss the cuts, which included eliminating the sole position in the hospital's senior services department, as well as the scaling back on some of the senior center's programs, according to the Tribune.
The senior center is located at 1801 W. Central Road and serves up to 500 senior citizens ages 55 years and older every day, according to the senior center's website.
