Arlington Heights Store Sells $450K Winning State Lottery Ticket

It might not be the Powerball, but the winning ticket was purchased at Westgate Newsstand. Did you pick the right numbers?

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL—A lottery ticket worth $450,000 was sold Saturday at an Arlington Heights store, and officials are waiting to hear from the winner.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was part of the state's Lucky Day Lotto midday drawing Saturday, according to an Illinois Lottery press release. It was sold at Westgate Newsstand, 1535 W. Campbell St., and the retailer will earn a $4,500 bonus for selling the lucky ticket.

The ticket's winning five numbers are 09, 22, 25, 33, 37, and the winner has up to a year to claim the prize money by signing the back of the ticket and visiting a state lottery prize center in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights.
