I am proud to live here, raise and educate my children here, and run my business in this beautiful community. We are facing many challenges as the economy slowly rebounds. As an Architect who has presented projects within our Village, and as a Design Comm. member who must make decisions on projects, I understand both sides of the process. I would propose changes that would allow all residents and businesses who are streamlined, productive, and economical, process of review.
What are the top 2-3 issues facing the village of Arlington Heights, and how do you plan on addressing them?
(1) Processes & procedures at Village Hall: Evaluate layers of current policy that can be modified or eliminated in order to expedite and reduce costs for the Village and the Petitioner.(2) Control budget and expense: We receive 11.6% of our RE Taxes, and our leaders must control expenses and be efficient in every way possible.(3) Healthy Business: Sales Tax within A.H. provides the largest revenue for essential village services. New and existing business needs our support in every way.
What improvements, if any, would you like to see in the way that the village of Arlington Heights is run?
From my experience, I believe it's time to take a look at how long it takes to get things done and reevaluate. The Village does so many things right, but what has worked in the past in a healthy economy needs to be reconsidered for creative solutions to move us forward. Our current Village Board is a group of honorable and intelligent individuals who I believe would benefit from having new perspectives and ideas generated from my first hand experiences. Together, we will remain first rate.

Most importantly, I would like the Arlington Heights Residents to know that I truly love this town. I am very proud to have grown up here, raise my children here, and operate my business here in Arlington Heights. As a Village Trustee I only wish to add insight and knowledge at the highest levels in order to help our wonderful community continue to grow and prosper. I respect and appreciate all of the existing Trustees as well as our current Village President, and I have no desire to remove or replace any single one of them. I only wish to enhance what already exists.
