What are the reasons you chose to run for Arlington Heights trustee?

This is my public service to the community.  I have spent my life giving back and serving others.  This is just my way of continuing that service.

What are the top 2-3 issues facing the village of Arlington Heights, and how do you plan on addressing them?

Maintaining the high quality of public safety.  Public safety has changed significantly in the last 30 years since our station was built. DNA is the gold standard for solving crimes.  Forensics, the ability to video suspects, and safe lock up facilities are needs, not just wants. Fiscal responsibility. During my tenure as Trustee streamlined our workforce and balanced our budget while maintaining excellent services. Good government- we have streamlined business processes.

What improvements, if any, would you like to see in the way that the village of Arlington Heights is run?

I would like to see more streamlined business processes for business owners that bypass tiered governmental review.  There are situations that this can be done while still maintaining the business standards that our residents in the Village have come to expect.
