ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police.   • Nellysmar Heik Perez Gonzalez, of the 9700 block of S. Ewing Avenue, Chicago, is accused of prostitution, and was arrested at 3:45 p.m. Jan. 17, in the 20 block of W. Algonquin Road, Arlington Heights. She was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 3.
  • Alexus L. Peterson, 28, of the 1500 block of E. 55th Street, Chicago, is accused of prostitution, and was arrested at 7:07 p.m. Jan. 22, in the 2100 block of S. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. She was released and assigned a court date of March 4.

RETAIL THEFT

An employee at Amazon Fresh, 325 E. Rand Road, reported at 8:35 p.m. Jan. 13, two people stole approximately $500 worth of alcohol.

THEFT

An employee at a business in the 800 block of W. Central Road called police to report that between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. Jan. 15, someone had stolen her purse while at work and subsequently used her credit cards to make unauthorized purchases.

VANDALISM

A resident in the 800 block of N. Mitchell Avenue reported that during the overnight hours of Jan. 16, someone used red spray paint to vandalized her garage door and siding.

STOLEN MOTOR VEHICLE

A citizen called police to report that during the overnight hours of Jan. 19, someone had stolen their gray 2019 Dodge Charger from a parking lot in the 2100 block of S. Tonne Drive.
