Parents in Arlington Heights can mark the first day of school coming later this summer.
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Arlington Heights, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Township High School District 214 and Arlington Heights School District 25.
The first days of school for most students in Arlington Heights are Aug. 16 and Aug. 17.
Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

- Winter Break: Dec. 22, 2023 through Jan. 8, 2024
- Spring Break: March 23, 2024, through March 31, 2024
- Last Day: May 31, 2024
Arlington Heights School District 25
- First Day: Aug. 17, 2023
- Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 20, 2023 through Nov. 24, 2023
- Winter Break: Dec. 25, 2023 through Jan. 5, 2024
- Spring Break: March 25, 2024 through March 29, 2024
- Last Day: May 31, 2024
