Berry Yo Serves Veterans to Show Thanks

Arlington Height's frozen yogurt shop, Berry Yo to serve veterans free of charge Nov. 10 to Nov. 12 in honor of Veteran's Day.

Berry Yo will serve up free frozen yogurt to Veterans Saturday, Nov. 10 through Monday, Nov. 12

“We want to make sure they know they’re important to us,” Berry Yo owner, Sheila Henneman said, “We want to thank them everyday for their service.”

In honor of Veteran’s Day, Sunday Nov. 11, veterans and active duty personnel can celebrate Veteran's Day at Berry Yo with a free 12 oz frozen yogurt during the Berry Yo's appreciation event.

“Bring a veteran in and he or she gets a frozen yogurt on us to show them how much we appreciate them,” said Henneman.

The appreciation event is for all active, retirees, and veterans with a valid military ID or proof of military service.

The family-owned shop opened its doors 50 N. Vail Ave. May 25 and from the very beginning, Henneman said one of her goals was to become very involved in the community.
