October is more than Halloween, corn mazes, and return of fall. It is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Whether it is a family member, a friend of a friend, or a beloved pet we have all been touched by cancer.
Now through October my good friend Natalie Griffin of Silpada Jewelry is having a fundraiser for breasts cancer. Her Bravery Bracelet is more than a fine piece of jewelry. It represents encouragement, support, and the belief that we will find a way to beat breast cancer. This disease does not discriminate and women of all races and ages are affected. Even though this disease mostly affects women, this is not a women's disease. Every year hundreds of men die and thousands will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer.
For every Bravery Bracelet sold, 25% of the cost will be donated to Living Beyond Breast Cancer. In-addition to this, Natalie Griffin has pledged a donation of $5 for every bracelet sold.
