Students Receive Degrees at Miami University Spring Commencement

Miami University awarded degrees to students during spring commencement. Local students included:

Goodwin Named to Spring 2022 Dean's List at John Carroll University

Willis Goodwin, of Arlington Heights, has been named to the Dean's List at John Carroll University for the Spring 2022 semester. Students eligible for the Dean's List must have completed a minimum of 12 semester hours within one semester and have a quality grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Favia Makes Spring Semester Dean's List at Adelphi University in New York

Alexis Favia, of Arlington Heights, has been named to Adelphi University's spring 2022 semester Dean's List. Favia was among a select group of outstanding students recognized by Adelphi's deans of Arts and Sciences, Education and Health Science, Business, Nursing and Public Health, Social Work and Psychology for superior academic performance. The list comprises full-time students-registered for 12 or more credits-who have completed at least nine graded credits and achieved a GPA of 3.5 or above for the semester. This recognition becomes part of the student's academic record and is entered into the individual's transcript.

Lynnette Hartwell, from Arlington Heights, graduated Summa cum Laude from Ithaca College with a BS in Television-Radio.

Cozzi Named To Dean's List At Michigan State

James Cozzi, of Arlington Heights, was named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Michigan State's Lyman Briggs pre-med program. The 2019 Buffalo Grove High School graduate will complete his studies early in December.
