Spring 2023 Dean's List Announced At Olivet Nazarene University
To qualify for inclusion on the Dean's List, a student must have been enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student and must have attained a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.00 grading scale. Local students include:

Hubrich Inducted into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi
Isabella Hubrich, of Arlington Heights, was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Hubrich was initiated at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Hubrich is among approximately 25,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year. Membership is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by a chapter. Only the top 10 percent of seniors and 7.5 percent of juniors are eligible for membership.

Gravagna To Graduate From University Honors Program At Nebraska
Alexis Gravagna, of Arlington Heights, is among 264 University of Nebraska-Lincoln graduating seniors who have completed the requirements to graduate from the University Honors Program in May. Gravagna will graduate from the College of Arts and Sciences. To graduate from the Honors Program, students must maintain at least a 3.5 grade-point average, complete a culminating senior project or research thesis, and fulfill other curricular requirements. This is the largest class of graduating Honors students in the program's 37-year history.

Squillacioti Named To Trine University President's List
Nicolas Squillacioti, of Arlington Heights, a Trine University student, was named to the President's List for the Spring 2023 term. Squillacioti is majoring in Civil Engineering.
To earn President's List honors, Trine University students must complete a minimum of 12 hours and have a grade point average of 3.750-4.000.

Buchek Initiated Into Omicron Delta Kappa
Morgan Buchek, a native of Arlington Heights, was recently initiated into the Augustana College Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Leadership Honor Society. The Society welcomed 1,869 new initiates from 78 universities during April 2023. Students initiated into the Society must be sophomores, juniors, seniors, or graduate/professional students in the top 35% of their class, demonstrate leadership experience in at least one of the five pillars, and embrace the ODK ideals. Fewer than five percent of students on a campus are invited to join each year.
