Palmer Serving As Student Teacher At UW-Whitewater

Dana Palmer, from Arlington Heights, who is studying Elementary Education at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, is representing the university as a student teacher during the fall 2024 semester. Palmer, a student in UW-Whitewater's College of Education and Professional Studies, is serving as a student teacher in the Elementary & Middle program(s) at Meadowbrook Elementary School in the Waukesha school district through the middle of January 2025.

Lavena Mikhail, from Arlington Heights, was one of 438 Des Moines University Medicine and Health Sciences students from five programs to receive their white coat during the university's annual White Coat Ceremony Friday, Sept. 13.
