Millikin Honors Convocation Praises Outstanding Work Of Students
The Millikin University community gathered again for the annual Honors Convocation and Distinguished Faculty Lecture on Thursday, April 27, at Kirkland Fines Arts Center to honor faculty, staff and student accomplishments as the 2022-23 academic year approaches its close. Over 90 awards were presented to Millikin students and faculty who were honored for their commitment to academic excellence. Many awards have been created to distinguish alums from Millikin's past.
- Christopher Bruno, from Arlington Heights, received the J. Graham Provan History Award.
- Jack Harmon, from Arlington Heights, received the Dorothy Sellers Art Award.
- Julia Mlynowski, from Arlington Heights, received the David S. Monroe Art Award.

Threlkeld Named To Dean's List At Grove City College
Adam Threlkeld, a political science major at Grove City College from Arlington Heights, has been named to the Dean's List with High Distinction for the Fall 2022 semester. Adam is a 2020 graduate of John Hersey High School and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Threlkeld, Sr. (Michele) from Arlington Heights. Students eligible for the Dean's List have a GPA of 3.40 to 3.59; for the Dean's List with Distinction a GPA of 3.60 to 3.84 and for the Dean's List with High Distinction a GPA of 3.85 to 4.0.

UW-Whitewater Announces Dean's List
The following students were named to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Dean's List for the 2023 spring semester. The following Arlington Heights students made the list:
- Emma Hager
- Dana Palmer
- Derek Timm
These students have demonstrated their academic abilities by receiving a grade point average of 3.4 or above in a single semester.

Gravagna Earns University Of Nebraska-Lincoln degree
Alexis Kay Gravagna, of Arlington Heights, was among a record 3,669 graduates who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during commencement exercises May 19 and 20.
Gravagna earned a Bachelor of Science with highest distinction from the College of Arts and Sciences.
