Largest-ever incoming class spreads its wings at Carthage College
Holding new student orientation activities in person once again, Carthage welcomed a record-setting fall 2021 incoming class. Spread across three days, the orientation schedule filled the Labor Day weekend. After moving into the residence halls, students gathered with their families for one of two community welcome sessions Sept. 4 in the TARC Field House. Local students include:

- Zachary Kurka, of Arlington Heights
- Milan Dzupin, of Arlington Heights
- Dominika Myrda, of Arlington Heights
- Elizabeth Ferraro, of Arlington Heights

Lexie Zeppos Named to St. Lawrence University's Summer 2021 Dean's List
Lexie Zeppos, from Arlington Heights, has been named to St. Lawrence University's Dean's List for achieving academic excellence during the Summer 2021 semester. Zeppos is a member of the Class of 2023 and is majoring in psychology. Zeppos attended Prospect High School. To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must have completed at least four courses and have an academic average of 3.6 based on a 4.0 scale for the semester.
