Emma Wrenn, of Arlington Heights, was among nearly 1,600 students awarded undergraduate and advanced degrees and certificates at Youngstown State University's Spring Commencement.
Wrenn earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Certificate in Leadership.

Fiedler Honored at Marlboro Institute Awards

Mark Fiedler, from Arlington Heights, was honored with The Ryan Larsen Memorial Prize during the Marlboro Institute Graduation Celebration & Awards Ceremony on May 6. The event honored a variety of Emerson College students. The Ryan Larsen Memorial Prize was established in 2006 in memory of Ryan Jeffrey Larsen, who felt transformed by the opportunities to learn and grow within the embrace of the Marlboro College community. It is awarded annually to a junior or senior who best reflects Ryan's qualities of philosophical curiosity, creativity, compassion, and spiritual inquiry. Mark Fiedler is majoring in Self-Designed and is a member of the Class of 2022.
