Illinois Wesleyan Announces Fall 2024 Dean's List
Illinois Wesleyan University's Dean's List for the fall semester of the 2024-25 academic year consisted of 827 students from 31 states and 28 countries. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a GPA of 3.50 or better during the semester, based on 4.0 for straight As. Students from Arlington Heights named to the list include:

Carthage College Students Venture Across Globe For J-Term Study Tour
During Carthage College's 2025 J-Term, Marisa Pacocha, from Arlington Heights, traveled as part of the course Paris: A Capital Experience. J-Term, or January Term, is a special month-long period of study in which Carthage students explore subjects outside their majors or minors, discover new interests, and test their creativity through classes held around the world. Nearly 200 Carthage students participated in one of 11 study tours offered in January.

Erin Prusener Receives Degree From Georgia Tech
Erin Prusener, of Arlington Heights, has earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering with Highest Honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. Prusener was among approximately 6,400 undergraduate and graduate students to be presented Georgia Tech degrees during the Institute's 267th Commencement exercises Dec. 12 - 14, 2024, at McCamish Pavilion (Ph.D. and bachelor's) and Bobby Dodd Stadium (master's).

UW-Whitewater Announces 2024 Winter Graduates
More than 800 students graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater at winter commencement, held Dec. 14, 2024, at Kachel Fieldhouse in the Williams Center. The following students from Arlington Heights earned degrees from the UW-Whitewater at winter commencement:
- Jonathan Baron graduated with the following degree: Business Administration - MBA.
- Dana Palmer graduated Summa Cum Laude with the following degree: Elementary Education - BSE.
Approximately 633 students crossed the stage to receive their degrees at the ceremony, held at Kachel Fieldhouse in the Williams Center.

Gianna Zitella Named To Fall Deans' List At Nebraska
Gianna Faith Zitella, of Arlington Heights, has been named to the Deans' List at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the fall semester of the 2024-25 academic year.
Zitella, a junior majoring in actuarial science and finance, was named to the Dean's List for the College of Business.
