College Credits: Arlington Heights Students Make Elmhurst Dean's List

Skrudland Awarded Phi Kappa Phi Study Abroad Grant
Jia Skrudland, of Arlington Heights, recently was awarded a Study Abroad Grant worth $1,000 from The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi — the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines. Skrudland is one of 125 students nationwide to receive the award. The grants are designed to support undergraduates, both members and nonmembers from campuses that have Phi Kappa Phi chapters, as they seek expanded knowledge and experience in their academic fields by studying abroad. Currently majoring in sports media at Butler University, Skrudland will use the grant to study abroad in Christchurch, New Zealand at University of Canterbury.

Elmhurst University's Spring 2024 Dean's List
Over 975 Elmhurst University students were named to the Spring 2024 Dean's List. The Dean's List is composed of students who, during the term concerned, attained a grade-point average of 3.75 or higher (out of a possible 4.00). Local Arlington Heights students named to the list include:

Milwaukee School of Engineering congratulates the following students from Arlington Heights, who were named to the spring dean's list:
- Alexander Neher was named to the Spring Semester 2024 Dean's List. Neher is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
- Nicole Switalski was named to the Spring Semester 2024 Dean's List with High Honors. Switalski is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.
- Daniel Marciniak was named to the Spring Semester 2024 Dean's List. Marciniak is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
- Sean Matthew was named to the Spring Semester 2024 Dean's List. Matthews is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.

Alexander Kurth, from Arlington Heights, was named to the Milwaukee School of Engineering's Honors List for the 2024 Spring Semester. Kurth is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management.

Spring 2024 Dean's List at Olivet Nazarene University
To qualify for inclusion on the Dean's List, a student must have been enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student and must have attained a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.00 grading scale. The following students from Arlington Heights were included:
