D214 Associate Superintendent Resigns Abruptly
D214 Associate Superintendent Kurt Laasko has stepped down from his post after nearly 20 years with the school district.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The second-highest paid employee with Northwest Suburban High School District 214 has resigned, the Daily Herald is reporting. Kurt Laasko, associate superintendent for human resources, abruptly stepped down from his post after nearly 20 years with District 214 last Thursday.
District officials and Laasko have not provided a reason for the resignation, according to the Daily Herald. Laasko made $210,269 for his annual base salary, which is the second highest salary only to Superintendent Dave Schuler.
