Dealership To Open in Arlington Heights January 2013
Napleton Dealership Group has plans to open a new Chrysler dealership at 1155 West Dundee Road.

The approved six requests for the Napelton Auto Group, which allows them to advance their building of a new dealership at their Aug. 20 board meeting.
"We want to show our cars," said Bernard Citron, Napleton's attorney.

The and convert it to a showroom and remove a portion of the south building to provide additional parking for existing and relocated office tenants.
Within the requests, the board granted three variations, two amendments and one rezoning request. The request will allow the auto group to construct a 4,515 square foot addition, demolish two buildings on Shure Drive to expand parking and storage.

The group is now able to convert the Dundee location into a dealership that would have an 18,378 square foot vehicle, service and parts department with 19 service bays, and a 16,800 square foot show room and sales office.
Citron said the dealership would start off with eight employees and hopefully expand to more 140 employees.
"Real Jobs are coming to town," he said.
Parking concerns, however, did raise questions from the board. Trustee John Scaletta is concerned about employees potentially parking in area business parking lots and streets in the village. Citron reassured that adjustments would be made if ample parking were not available at the dealership.
Trustee Joseph Farwell said he's excited about the dealership coming to Arlington Heights and the jobs coming to the community.
The dealership has a grand opening date slated for Jan. 31, 2013.
